Defencelife has the privilege of serving millions of meals to our Defence personnel. Whether it is out in the field or in dining halls, we provide everything from snacks, to buffet style meals to first class dining experiences for functions. We are currently looking for an experienced food and beverage supervisor to join our team based at Singleton. This a full-time position, full training is provided, and you will be working for one of the largest catering and support services company in the world!
The position:
- Assist the food & beverage manager in managing the day-to-day operations
- Lead a small team to deliver high quality and exceptional customer service
- Manage functions for various occasions
- Ensure all Company policies and procedures are applied
- Establish, maintain, and monitor quality customer service practices
- Assist in organise rosters as per requirements
The person:
- Must have management/supervisory experience in the hospitality industry
- Management experience, including rostering, budgets, and business management
- Certificate III qualifications desirable
- A passion for food with the ability to motivate and promote team members to achieve exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills as you will be in daily contact with customers and staff
- Exceptional personal presentation
- Strong Occupational Health and Safety focus
- Possess a positive "can do" attitude
- Must have drivers’ licence and transport
