We will provide vital services, including patient services, environmental services, food, security, help desk, and more. As a public hospital with clinical services provided by Western Health, this state-of-the-art facility will play a key role in supporting the community—be part of something bigger and help shape the future of healthcare in Victoria.
THE POSITION
Monitor hospital security systems, including surveillance cameras and alarm systems, to ensure safety.
Respond to incidents and alarms promptly, coordinating with security staff and hospital teams.
Maintain logs of security activities, incidents, and system checks for record-keeping.
Ensure the proper functioning of security equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.
Assist with emergency response efforts, providing critical information to security teams and management.
THE PERSON
Must have or is able to obtain a National Police Clearance.
Certificate II in Security Operations mandatory (CPP20218).
Certificate III in Security Operations mandatory (CPP31318).
Certificate IV in Security Management (CPP40719) would be advantageous.
Victorian Private Security Individual Licence
Requirement for First Aid/CPR certificates and Working With Children Checks
Familiarity with CCTV and security monitoring equipment.
Understanding of standard operating procedures for security and emergency response.
