ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback. Due to anticipated growth across our flagship portfolio in Central QLD, we have exciting opportunities for experienced Gardeners / Grounds People interested in joining the remote sector, working 14:7 rosters (2 weeks on, 1 week off).
The Positions
Working as key members in our remote maintenance teams
Maintain and enhance site grounds and garden
Turf management, tree and shrub maintenance, mowing, weed control and watering the grounds
Provide proactive maintenance to structures and services as required
Industrial cleaning where required
Operate and maintain equipment and machinery
The Person
A team player with the ability to multi-task in busy environments
Ability to work long shifts (10-hour days) in a fast-paced environment
General maintenance experience / trades or labouring background (desirable)
Chemical handling experience (desirable)
Competent in operating general maintenance / grounds equipment
Forklift ticket (desirable)
Weed spraying certificate (desirable)
Driver’s licence and own reliable transport
