The Role

We are currently seeking a Building Maintenance/Handyperson to join our client site in the Ryde area.

This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Maintenance and repairs of multisite facilities, task will include but not limited to painting and line marking, lighting, minor installations, tiling, basic plumbing, basic carpentry work, furniture removal and general repairs). 
• Ensure reactive maintenance is actioned within required timeframes
• Ensure preventative maintenance of Facility assets is attended to and actioned in accordance with the Maintenance Schedule and legislative requirements.
• Escalate maintenance issues to the Facility Manager.
• Conduct regular environmental checks and audits.
• Maintain the online Asset Register to the highest standard
• Keep storage and work areas in a neat, well stocked, clean and organised manner.
• Follow all Safe Work Practices.

• Trade qualified is desirable but not essential
• Handyman experience
• Exceptional eye for detail
• White Card
• Current Drivers Licence 
• Computer skills 
• Good written and verbal communication skills 
• Self-motivated, energetic and promote a positive work environment

• Good time management and organisational skills
• Flexible and innovative approach to problem-solving
