We are currently seeking an experienced Grounds / Handy Person to work at our Bellbird Park School. Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

The Position

• Responding to service requests for building maintenance
• Requests typically include furniture relocation, painting, and minor repairs
• Maintenance of the facilities grounds; mowing, weeding and general upkeep
• Providing support to site cleaning staff, and specialised cleaning where required

With an immediate start available, successful candidates will be required to complete a Pre-Employment Medical, and Blue Card Application. Ideally, we are looking for candidates with the following experience; 

The Person

• General maintenance experience, with a trade background desirable
• Competent in operating general maintenance and grounds equipment, as well as chemical handling
• Customer service focused approach
• Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
• ACDC (weed spraying ticket) advantageous
• Valid and current manual driving licence
