Groundsperson
Delta Facilities Management offers maintenance, construction, and project management services to a diverse range of clients, including defence organisations, schools, offshore projects and remote resources industries. We currently have a rare Groundsperson vacancy at Griffin State School. The successful candidate will become an integral member of our operational team, working full time Monday to Friday, 9:00 am-17:06 pm, including throughout the school holidays.
The Position
The core objective of the Groundsperson is to contribute to the efficient and effective operation and maintenance of the school facility by providing a high level of cleaning and facilities support in line with our Service Specifications. At the completion of training and induction, the Grounds role is capable of utilising a range of complex instructions, materials and equipment to deliver a range of cleaning, grounds, utility and school officer duties to facilitate school operations in a clean, safe and aesthetically pleasant condition.
The Person
- Experience in a similar role - working in Grounds Maintenance experience OR Handyperson type role
- A great work ethic and ability to learn
- Physically fit, fun and able
- Good communication skills with a flexible approach
- Essential: Must be able to obtain a Blue Card
