The Position

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from trade qualified Handyman to join one of our established facility based in Leura

Responsibilities for this role include breakdown and preventative maintenance along with assisting in electrical work associated with the maintenance and repair of our client site and infrastructure. This will include kitchen and laundry appliances, accommodation facilities, recreational and entertainment facilities, general maintenance and a various of handyman duties which are to be carried out in an efficient, timely and safe manner. 

Key duties

• Perform maintenance and light repairs
• Perform routine landscaping on the grounds
• Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.)
• Undertake light installation or carpeting
• Repair equipment or appliances
• Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
• Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks
• Identify and report the need for major repairs

The Person

• Good communication skills
• Physically Fit
• Previous experience in commercial property maintenance
• Right to work in Australia
• Relevant Trade qualifications ( preferred ), ( Plumbing , Electrical )
• Minimum 3 years experience in building /facilities services and maintenance.
• Minor building , carpentry, plastering , painting , general repairs.
• Maintain records on maintenance schedules/ tasks carried out in a timely manners
