We're moving into exciting times here at Compass Group amongst our Eurest portfolios and we're seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our production kitchen operation and team, located in Clayton.  In our state-of-the-art central production kitchen facility, you will be delivering high volume, bulk production cooking to some of our sites across Compass Group.

Ideally, you will have the following:

  • Qualifications in Commercial Cookery
  • Management or Business qualifications an advantage
  • Experience in HACCP, food safety and infection control
  • Experience working in a similar high volume central kitchen environment
  • Experience in the use of production style equipment, such as slow cooker ovens, bratt pans, soup kettles and fillers
  • Experience with stock control, budgets, rostering, mentoring & training
  • A rich passion for cooking and an interest in keeping abreast of latest trends and innovations
  • High emphasis on the quality and pride in your work
  • You will have great work ethic and be a team player
  • Ensure quality of all food items/ingredients
