We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Head Chef to lead kitchen operations at RAAF Williamtown. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys structured rosters, developing teams, and delivering high-quality food across multiple service styles within a unique Defence environment.

The Position
• Predominantly Monday to Friday roster, working between 7:00am and 4:00pm
• Occasional weekend support as required
• Lead and manage a small kitchen team of approximately 10 team members
• Oversee food production across bulk, buffet, cook-to-order and plated function service
• Manage ordering, menu planning and unit spend while maintaining quality and consistency

The Person
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Certificate IV or trade qualification preferred)
• Proven experience leading and organising kitchen teams in a diverse environment
• Experience across bulk, buffet, cook-to-order and plated function service
• Strong capability in menu planning, ordering and cost control
• Sound knowledge of food safety, holding a current Food Safety Supervisor certificate
