• Provide catering services and leadership in a prestigious boarding college environment 

This role will predominantly be a Monday to Friday roster offering daily food offerings across our retail and boarding areas through to functions and events. The successful candidate will have experience across a broad range of cuisines, ideally you will have experience working within a busy commercial catering environment and it is imperative that you have outstanding people skills - Welcome to your perfect work life balance !

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to;

• Lead, coach, shape and grow your team
• Maintaining the focus on quality menu design, food preparation and service and innovation,
• Maintain efficient operations across multi services
• Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, & liaising with the client
• Exposure to high volume purchasing/inventory and supplier negotiations.
• Food safety management
• Maintain up to date knowledge on allergies

The Person

• A natural leader with a unique approach to education catering bringing flair, warmth and outstanding cuisine in a friendly upmarket setting
• Qualifications in commercial cookery
• Must be able to demonstrate a strong culinary background within a leadership role.
• Experience in HACCP, food safety and infection control
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team
• Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills
• Management or Business qualifications an advantage
• Current WWCC (working with Children check) is a mandatory requirement of this role
