We are currently looking for an experienced Head Chef to join our team in Singleton. As part of this position, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and you will oversee the back of house operations. You will be working in a large dynamic team! Full training and support on our processes and procedures will be provided.
Position:
- Ensure efficient operation of the kitchen.
- Lead team to deliver high quality and exceptional customer service.
- Provide guidance and support to the team.
- Plan catering for events or functions
- Follow company health, safety and security procedures
- Stocktaking and Ordering – My Orders
- Monitor catering revenue and costs
- Maintain consumer satisfaction
- Review and promote training
The Person:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential)
- Extensive function experience (desirable)
- Experience in stock control, ordering, hygiene, menu planning, safety awareness and staff control
- Proven hand on trade skills
- Knowledge of quality management systems
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner
- Team player with a flexible approach and attitude
