We are looking for a Site Manager to head up our small to medium sized team. The successful candidate will be a natural leader with well-rounded hospitality experience and the capacity to manage all aspects of the site; including and not limited to Retail and Events services. You are skilled at building good relationships with staff and clients - working together with a one-team approach.

General Duties;

  • This is a hands-on role, overseeing the day-to-day operations of Retail, Events and Pantry services in a busy corporate environment
  • Be able to coordinate all event services as required such as arranging and organising the event from initial booking to service delivery
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans that drive innovation, client satisfaction, and operational efficiencies
  • Manage HR related functions - recruitment, staff induction, employee relations, performance management, training and development
  • Compliance and reporting – includes and not limited to; weekly financial tracking, HSE audits, budgets, client reporting requirements and other adhoc administrative and reporting requests
  • Promote and support a great safety culture that drives
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of food safety principles and ensure allergen and dietary requirements are handled in accordance to food safety protocols

The Person;

  • We are after a hands on operator
  • Someone who communicates clearly and with confidence, on all levels, internally and externally
  • Retail experience desirable, good understanding of retail operation and concepts
  • End to end events Management experience - Experience putting together custom packages for customers, quotes, themeing
  • Will have commercial acumen/ability to report on and manage a budget, with a proven history of financial focus to reduce costs and drive profit margin
  • Passion for quality and attention to detail is a must
  • Guest centric, always willing to go above and beyond
  • Experience working in a Retail/Events Corporate catering environment, with minimum 2 years’ management experience essential
