We are recruiting for Safety Administrators to join an established community of safety professionals working predominately across our remote and offshore sector at Compass Group Australia. This entry level opportunity would suit individuals who have a genuine interest in all things safety and have ideally studied a certificate IV or higher in Occupational Health and safety.

By joining us as a safety administrator, you will experience working with a variety of stakeholders out on our remote sites across WA. 

Some duties may include:

• Partnering with experienced Advisors to conduct root cause analysis, risk and hazard identification, audits and reporting and analysis
• Working with site managers and other leaders to review and implement safety plans
• Developing, communicating and delivering new initiatives such as the safety “app” and digital safety platform
• Contributing to ongoing systems and process simplification and improvement
• Audit compliance to the Compass Group standards and management/maintenance of the HSEQ Management System

A bit about you:

• Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (or working towards)
• Knowledge of food safety principles (HACCP) and experience in the food service industry (from either casual/part-time or full-time employment) would be ideal
• Knowledge of applicable legislative requirements
• Strong report writing skills
• Computer literacy
