We are currently recruiting an experienced HSEQ Advisor. Locally based, or FIFO from QLD, you will focus on driving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performance; conducting regular safety interactions with all levels within the teams, ensuring safety compliance and supporting any investigations, demonstrating tenacity to get to root cause identification.

The Position

• The continual improvement of our safety management systems
• Providing specialist HSEQ advice and support to our operational teams
• Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
• Driving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performance
• Conducting regular safety interactions with all levels within the teams
• Ensuring safety compliance and supporting investigations

The Person

• Experience in Site Based HSEQ Advisory positions, having held responsibility for delivering overall HSEQ support.
• Strong and decisive HSEQ leadership skills with ability to engage stakeholders
• Experience in managing multiple stakeholder relationships, effectively bringing people along the site safety journey.
• Highly developed skills in communication, presentations and reporting.
• White Card (or willingness to apply)
• National Police Check (or willingness to apply)
• Comfortable undertaking a pre-employment medical
• Comfortable undertaking COVID test every 72 hours

Specifically, we are looking for candidates from local areas including, but not limited to Wagga, Tumut Valley, Cooma and ACT regions. We provide bus services to site from these locations. We also provide FIFO opportunities from NSW or QLD.
