We power iconic venues, remote sites, hospitals, schools, and workplaces with smart, scalable solutions. Now, we’re looking for a skilled Infrastructure Specialist to help us elevate our digital backbone and drive transformation across our enterprise.
Your Impact
As part of our Digital & Technology (D&T) team, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and maintaining robust infrastructure across on-premise, cloud, and network environments. You’ll lead technical problem-solving, optimize cloud platforms, and contribute to strategic projects that shape how Compass Group delivers services across Australia.
What You’ll Do
Monitor and maintain high-performance infrastructure to ensure reliability and security.
Resolve complex technical issues escalated from Level 2 support — across servers, networks, cloud services, identity, and backup systems.
Administer and optimize AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365, and other cloud platforms.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver seamless solutions.
Lead or support infrastructure projects from planning to execution.
Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure processes and service delivery.
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
3+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or cloud/network engineering.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Familiarity with ITIL-based change and incident management.
Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud technologies.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
Certifications in Cisco, Meraki, Microsoft, AWS, or Azure.
Experience with automation/scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Terraform).
Exposure to endpoint management and monitoring tools (e.g., WhatsUp Gold, AWS/Azure native monitoring).
Why Join Us?
You’ll be part of a culture that values innovation, agility, and growth. You’ll work with passionate professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and have the opportunity to shape the future of infrastructure in a dynamic enterprise environment.
