This is a dynamic and varied role for a Junior Sous Chef to join our team at The Kings School as a senior member of our team. In this role, you will showcase your talents as a culinary leader who has experience working within a busy catering environment, leading a team and having an eye for detail, not to mention your genuine passion for food!

Key Duties:

  • Responsible for running the day-to-day operations and supporting the functions teams
  • Assist and oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation of our innovative and mouth-watering, nutritious culinary offerings
  • Champion the significant and accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls
  • Uphold the high standards of customer focus at all times.
  • Ensure the safe production of a high-quality product without compromising the food safety guidelines provided
  • Be accountable for food production of various areas within required time frames.

The Person:

  • Drive, personality creative flair and a passion for food
  • Experience in leading a large team
  • Passionate about healthy and nutritious eating
  • HACCP Accredited & Food safety certified
  • Experience in rostering
