We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Kitchen/Dining Room Team Leader to join the team at Eureka Village in the Moranbah region.

The roster is 14 days on and 7 days off - 10 hour days. This role is fly in/ fly out from Brisbane. The other option is drive-in/drive-out or bus-in, bus-out (ex Mackay) and would be ideal for candidates local to the Moranbah and Mackay regions.

The Position

• You will be responsible for leading a team within our catering department to ensure facilities are clean and comply with our contractual obligations.
• You will be a driven individual that is able to train, lead and motivate your team, working alongside with management to achieve desired results.

The Person

• Experience in a similar supervisory role leading a large diverse team
• Commercial experience (Hotel, Mining, or Resort environment preferable)
• Desirable knowledge of HACCP
• Ability to lead a successful team and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the team’s overall performance
• Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create, implement and evaluate training and procedures
