The Position:
Assist chefs with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks in a fast-paced alpine resort kitchen
Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including dishwashing and general cleaning duties
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures, including allergen awareness and infection control
Help with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring correct stock rotation
Support the team during busy service times with a can-do attitude
Work cooperatively with chefs and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
The Person:
Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen or similar fast-paced environment
Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow directions from chefs and supervisors
Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic workspace
Willingness to learn and support with basic food prep when required
Understanding of safe food handling, hygiene practices, and allergen awareness
Positive attitude and a strong team player
