ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high quality meals that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.

We are seeking a reliable Kitchenhand to join our team at Kokoda Barracks, Canungra. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen and maintaining high standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties
• Wash dishes, utensils and maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Support chefs during meal service
• Maintain clean and organised work areas
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in kitchen or hospitality environments preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
