The Position

Reporting to the National Manager - Central Hub, the role of Supervisor – Labour Scheduling will see you lead the day to day operations of the Hub Labour Team. Your role will see you work in collaboration with the operational site management teams & casual workforce to ensure staffing requirements for site are met. This role requires a pro-active approach to customer service delivery and is responsible for the team meeting the business labour demands with proficient utilisation of the casual remote relief pool and contractor agency engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the team to deliver scheduling of planned and unplanned shutdowns, mobilisations, functions and BAU requirements for all sites
  • Liaison with operational managers and site managers for all casual staffing requirements
  • Contribute towards identifying and solutioning cost effective labour outcomes through collaboration and with the Centralised Deputy Rostering Team and HUB MAP4 Leaders
  • Workforce Planning - Provide input into the development, implementation and update of business processes that will aid and enable a more streamlined and successful casual pool
  • Ensure casual pool process compliance is adhered to by HUB Labour Team and site operations
  • Co-ordination and distribution of labour reporting to key internal stakeholders on a regular and ad-hoc basis

The Person

  • Previous experience in a scheduling, rostering or workforce planning role is essential
  • Experience working in remote/offshore environments with a variety of FIFO/DIDO rosters is desirable
  • Demonstrated experience with workforce system Deputy (or similar platform) is desirable
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organisation and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Highly developed verbal, telephone and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently and within a team
  • Excellent analytical, reporting and organisation skills
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
