We are currently seeking a grounds/maintenance person to join our team at HMAS Stirling, this is a full time role. We are a friendly team that prides ourselves on great service and providing a warm, friendly working environment!

Key Responsibilities

• Providing guidance and leadership to the Maintenance of the facilities grounds, Housekeepers and Cleaners
• Use of technical knowledge in the maintenance and operation of electrical equipment 
• Participating in an on-call after hours roster when required
• Leading a small team, through creating a positive culture and engaging atmosphere 

About You

• General maintenance experience or trade background
• Supervisor or Management experience leading small teams
• Grounds and horticulture awareness
• Competent in operating general maintenance and grounds equipment and chemical handling
• Testing and Tagging certification desirable

Essential

• Australian Citizenship
• Valid and current driving licence
• Ability to pass Federal Police Clearance
• Fully Covid vaccinated
