We are currently seeking a highly experienced and enthusiastic Guest Service Manager to oversee and enhance our onsite accommodation and cleaning services across both base and remote sites throughout the ACT.

About the Role 

As the Guest Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of cleaning and accommodation, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and compliance. You’ll lead a diverse team, manage budgets and supplies, and drive continuous improvement across all functions. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Oversee accommodation and cleaning services to ensure consistent operational excellence.
  • Establish and manage stock control systems, procurement, and supply processes.
  • Develop and maintain staff rosters aligned with operational requirements.
  • Respond to stakeholder enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Manage budgets to ensure cost efficiency and effective resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Prepare and present regular operational and performance reports.

About You 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial role within cleaning, accommodation, or facilities services.
  • Diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or similar (advantageous).
  • Certification in cleaning management or a related discipline (advantageous).
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning and accommodation.
  • Proven leadership capability with a focus on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a strong commitment to service excellence.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (including a satisfactory Australian Federal Police check).
