This key role within the unique and market leading Foodbuy organisation, will see you work with both local teams and as the key liaison to our global (London based) parent in the development and delivery of a cohesive and ever-developing approach to CSR/sustainable products and supply chain options. The development and provision of key client and group required CSR/Sustainability reporting and in the development and both design and delivery of our multi-year strategic approach to Modern Slavery Act market leadership.

The Role

  • Represent our Foodbuy organisation as the lead resp/acct role for development of our CSR, sustainability and Modern-Day Slavery development strategies, including data and reporting
  • Design, develop, embed and manage an integrated Foodbuy sustainable and ethical sourcing framework as a new and compelling solution for our clients under the World First brand
  • Develop a “go-to-client” strategy with Client leadership in deploying the framework and both developing and presenting compelling sustainable sourcing opportunities to our clients
  • Act as subject matter expert and represent our team’s capability in terms of input to client tenders, solutions and strategies
  • Development and implementation of a sophisticated and sustainable strategy, framework and suite of commercially viable activities to address Modern Day Slavery
  • Development of professional Foodbuy sustainability framework, standards and solution offering
  • Development of compelling “WorldFirst” products and solutions to drive Incremental increase in YoY client expenditure on defined “sustainability” Foodbuy product suite
  • Development, management and publishing of key sustainability statistics (internal, client and market facing) relating to key sustainability KPI’s
  • Market Intelligence – research, industry partnerships, innovation and market advantage
  • Work with the Foodbuy team to harness our existing and developing supply chains, products and services within the new solution
  • Managing, growing, measuring and reporting the growth (incl. forecast) of sustainable sourced expenditure across clients
  • Develop new industry partnerships, create new thought leadership and work with the existing Foodbuy team and supply chain to form new opportunities, understand new global and local market innovations and new products for our clients
