Material Distribution Team Leader

Compass Group Australia will deliver essential support services at the new Footscray Hospital, one of Victoria’s largest health infrastructure projects. We will provide vital services, including patient services, environmental services, food, security, help desk, and more. As a public hospital with clinical services provided by Western Health, this state-of-the-art facility will play a key role in supporting the community—be part of something bigger and help shape the future of healthcare in Victoria.

THE POSITION

• Supervise and support the material distribution team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Oversee stock levels, ensuring critical supplies are always available.
• Coordinate the timely and accurate delivery of materials across hospital departments.
• Identify and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Work closely with procurement, logistics, and clinical teams to meet hospital needs.

THE PERSON

• Previous experience leading a team in logistics, supply chain, or healthcare operations.
• Experience working in a hospital, healthcare facility, or a related logistics environment.
• Understanding of hospital or industry regulations for handling medical supplies.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including clinical and procurement staff.
• Must have or is able to obtain a National Police Clearance.
