THE POSITION

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students
• Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
• Monitor stock and minimize wastage
• Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
• Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation
• Stand down period during school holidays 
• Opportunities to pick up shifts during school stand down

THE PERSON

• Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
• Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
• Experience with cooking in bulk quantities, with the ability to produce a variety of cooking cuisines 
• Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
• work independently and in a small team.
• Function experience with high end presentation for buffets, plated meals and catering boxes.
• Willingness to assist on server and operate POS when required.
