THE POSITION

• Accurately record patient meal orders, ensuring dietary preferences and restrictions are met.
• Work closely with clinical staff to verify patients’ nutritional needs and health conditions.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to relay patient meal requirements and preferences.
• Double-check patient orders before meals are prepared and delivered.
• Maintain accurate records of meal orders and dietary changes.

THE PERSON

• Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting, ideally in patient meal coordination or nutrition support.
• Strong understanding of dietary restrictions, special diets, and nutrition requirements.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both clinical staff and kitchen teams.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Must have or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance.
