A bit about your new role:

We are now searching for a Casual Cook to join our kitchen team based at our client site at Metro Rehab, Ryde.  Forming part of our friendly kitchen team, you will work closely with our lead Chefs to prepare, cook and serve our residents but have the ability to work in our function & retail outlets too. 

Some of your daily duties:

• Prepare, cook and serve meals in accordance to strict Medirest procedures
• Apply catering control principles; food safety, waste minimisation and cleaning
• Responsible for maintaining food safety documents
• Stock control and rotation
• Comply with duties as directed by the Chef

A bit about you:

• Knowledge of food hygiene & OH&S
• Excellent time management, organisational, communication skills
• Commitment to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
• Able to work multiple shifts throughout the week
