Mine Site Cleaning Supervisor

$76 - $90k +Super

• 7x days on, 7x days off  (working 10-12x hour shifts) 
• Mine Site/Industrial Cleaning & Supervision of Staff
• DIDO only - must be residing in the local Central Queensland areas (no FIFO)

The Position

We are currently recruiting Mine Site Cleaning Supervisors to work across various locations throughout Central Queensland 

As a mine site cleaning supervisor, you will be responsible for the day to day running and supervision of between 5 to 15 cleaners and reporting to upper level management on a regular basis.

• Cleaning of communal buildings and facilities on the mine site
• Including but not limited too, offices, training rooms, crib huts, wash rooms, locker rooms, bath houses..
• Waste removal, power washing pathways and light grounds work
• Physically demanding and active role, working 10-12 hour days
• Training of new employees
• Conduct effective prestart meetings, attend to performance issues, demonstrate and reinforce safe work ethics, effectively investigate and report all hazards/incidents and injuries
• Prepare and submit performance reports and field leadership

The Person: 

• Supervisor Certificates - S123 & G2 – with experience as a supervisor or relevant role
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills 
• Advanced computer skills (All Microsoft applications including outlook calendar)
• Available on 7x7 roster – Subject to change due to operational requirements such as site/roster and available for overtime
• Reliable transport and back up should an issue arise 
• Neat, tidy and professional in appearance
• Be conditioned to the extreme weather in Central QLD
• Be able to pass a Pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol Test
• Standard 11 Certificate (desirable)
