THE POSITION

  • Developing and maintaining effective business relationships with clients and customers
  • Providing leadership to your team to achieve business objectives including fostering a culture where safety is a core value
  • Develop and monitor project scope, schedule and budgets to ensure project performance and report against the work schedules and budget.
  • Manage a positive projects cashflow, approving contractor invoices and reporting to accountant for invoice release to client.
  • Align, support and develop lifecycle changeout programs for Critical assets.
  • Develop and handover Planned works programs for all new assets
  • Assist in the development of our annual Programmed works recommendations, Schedule and deliver the approved work over a twelve month program.
  • Coordinate with Various client departments regarding shut-downs, Exclusion zones and permit to works approvals.
  • Monitoring and control the use of work management processes related to your projects
  • Monitor the need for outsourcing maintenance work and ensuring capability of external service providers meets business requirements.

THE PERSON

  • Proven experience in Asset Life cycle management
  • Trade or tertiary education in a technical field (such as electrical, mechanical, or engineering) preferred
  • Ability & confidence to professionally liaise with senior management including clients/customers
  • Proven leadership and people management experience.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including report writing competencies, computer literacy and the ability to maintain high customer service standards and foster a positive team environment
