HR Business Partner | Healthcare

Role Purpose & Contribution

• Support the hospital by partnering with the leadership team to deliver end-to-end people solutions, including workforce transition, recruitment, onboarding, and training.
• End to end ownership of generalist HR processes and triaging of issues.
• Contribute to innovating people systems, processes, and the overall operational HR framework.
• Partner with the General Services Manager and Department Leaders to execute the People strategy.
• Drive a high-performing, compliant, and engaged workforce aligned with Compass Group values and safety culture.
• Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, industrial matters and compliance particularly within gov/health sectors.
• Key point of contact for Hospital administrators and managers.
• Interpretation of Industrial Awards

Key Responsibilities

• Support workforce planning activities, ensuring a positive employee experience and compliance with industrial instruments.
• Partner with recruitment teams to deliver hiring strategies, ensuring workforce readiness for hospital labour requirements.
• Be available to participate and engage in meetings with hospital management teams
• Assist in developing and implementing ongoing training frameworks
• Support communication plans and strategies related to existing and new employees.
• Coordinate with People Support functions to maintain HR systems, employee records, and reporting frameworks.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote a strong safety-first culture.
• Manage and deliver structured onboarding programs for new starters.
• Manage logistics and processes for interviewing, onboarding, and training delivery.
