The Position
We are seeking an efficient Accounts Payable Officer to join our friendly, professional team at our Perth office. The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for processing accounts, maintaining systems and procedures and meeting deadlines whilst providing top level service to our internal and external customers.
Key duties
- Provide support to the offshore Accounts Payable team
- Responsible for the maintenance of supplier database and other specialist functions outside of the transactional process
- To be the escalation point and provide problem solving advice to the offshore team
- Technical payment processes as required
- Manage and support suppliers for monthly reconciliations
- Provide reports to the business as requested
The Person
- • Demonstrated 4+ years in Accounts Payable role
• Supplier database maintenance preferred
• Experience working with paperless accounts payable system (converga or similar)
• Oracle experience preferred
• Experience in high volume environment within a large company
• Intermediate excel skills
• Assist with month end reporting and reconciliations
• Outstanding communication / ability to work in fast paced, changing environment
