As a Collections Officer you will be working with the Finance Team and will be responsible for:

• The ability to make collection calls while representing the business and negotiating a promise to pay.
• Processing credit applications.
• Managing your own portfolio of national clients
• Managing and maintaining aged debtor accounts
• Cash flow

To be successful you will possess the following skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
• High level attention to detail
• Excellent time management, to be able to prioritise to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in desktop applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel
• Experience working with a variety of debtor systems 
• Oracle experience would be advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• A basic knowledge of accounting.
• Strong ability to remain assertive and empathetic with customers.
• Processing, data accuracy and method retention skills.
