The Position

Reporting to the General Services Manager within a healthcare environment, the People Services Advisor role is a dynamic and unique position supporting a 350 strong employee base. You will be responsible for partnering with our divisional management team to work together to drive employee engagement, employee relations and generalist HR activities.

Key Duties

  • Provide advice and support to managers on ER matters including performance management, remuneration, and People policies & procedures
  • Coach line managers on how to engage, develop, reward and retain their employees
  • Assist in the resolution of employee grievances
  • Roll-out People initiatives, strategies and tools, and monitor compliance with industrial instruments and People metrics
  • Collaborate with the broader People team to ensure a seamless delivery to all stakeholders
  • Assist with reporting and data requests and monitoring compliance with our industrial instruments

The Person

  • Broad range of generalist HR experience, within a workforce that is unionised
  • Demonstrable experience with Awards and Enterprise Agreements interpretation
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in navigating a variety of HR and reporting systems
  • Safety First advocate & change agent
  • Proactive, well organised, and can work autonomously in an unsupervised environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations
