Fixed Term Opportunity

Based in our Sydney Support Office in McMahons Point (with a hybrid work model) or we're open to applications from other states too, we currently have a 12 month Fixed Term Contract due to an exciting time of change, innovation and growth. You will be working with a lively, fun bunch of people and join us in a pivotal moment of change around how we source, lead and manage our Talent and continue to find process improvements around our HR systems.

As the People Systems Specialist you will lead system enhancements, system configuration, minor projects and activities to ensure Compass Group Workforce Systems are managed and maintained to support effective workforce management across Compass Group. This role reports into the Team lead and will be responsible for maintaining and prioritise the workforce systems product backlog, providing project support to the project team, developing training, tier 3 technical support and providing subject matter expertise to the business.

A bit about the people we’re keen to hear from:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a system administration/configuration role working with time & attendance and recruitment platforms
  • 3+ years’ in an operational focused Hospitality role an advantage 
  • Experience managing, maintaining, and developing system integrations in an HR environment
  • Experience creating user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and decision makers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to establish and maintain a positive relationship with business stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, reporting and organisation skills
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, OneNote
  • Strong communication and customer service skills – both written and verbal
