Delta FM provides facility management support services to remote and metro clients across Australia. The Works Dispatch Officer works with the onsite Facilities Managers to help deliver Planned and Unplanned services in a timely fashion. This is achieved through the utilisation of in-house and sub-contracted trade staff.
We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our site based at Olympic Dam, South Australia.
The Position:
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships
- Lead and manage an effective team
- Manage Contracts to Provide Services
- Manage sub-contracting arrangements
- Establish, maintain and monitor quality customer service practices
- Effectively manage the cost of goods within the workplace
- Manage finances within a budget
- Train and develop employees
- Establish and maintain a safe and secure workplace
- Establish and maintain an environmentally sustainable workplace
The Person:
- Proven business leadership experience at State Manager / Contract Manager level and has held P&L responsibility of at least AUD 20 Million.
- Knowledge of building / maintenance practices
- In depth understanding of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment and ability to apply principles.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage a budget
- Ability to form productive relationships with clients and individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Proven experience in managing successful teams
- Working knowledge of workplace regulations, including award and agreement requirements
- Able to motivate staff and improve employee engagement through effective communications, mentoring and coaching, training and development, and structured feedback
- Computer literate – ability to use IT systems to maintain efficient operations Proven leadership in Health and Safety, having consistently improved safety performance across a variety of different organisations.
