Recruitment Coordinator – QLD Regional Accommodation Centre

We are currently seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join our team join our team at the brand-new QLD Regional Accommodation Centre located in Toowoomba.   The accommodation centre is situated 25 minutes’ drive from Toowoomba CBD and will initially accommodate 500 beds, expanding to 1000 in 2022. 

Working closely with the Compass Central Recruitment Team, this role work directly with the site team to assist with the coordination of ongoing recruitment at site.

Key responsibilities will also include:

  • Coordinate recruitment drives including attraction, advertising, and sourcing
  • Assist with the end-to-end recruitment of site staff, including attraction, pre-screening of candidates, reference checks and contract generation
  • Coordinate all onboarding requirements and compliance checks
  • Update and maintain position descriptions used for advertising
  • Monitor employment market and provide suggestions on expanding reach

 

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Previous recruitment experience, managing high volume roles across competing stakeholders

Experience of souring strategies in regional areas highly desirable

  • Current COVID vaccinations and Police Check will be required for these roles
