Compass Group is a world leader in catering and support services, employing over 600,000 people across 45 countries. We are rated number one in our industry on Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies for 2020.

The Asia Pacific region of Compass Group has 65,000 employees working in 10 countries, serving over 400 million meals at 3,500 different sites a year.

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Project Manager to join a small central team based in Sydney that will lead key process change and strategic projects within the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

The role will report into the Regional Managing Director and work across a broad group of stakeholders. It will require exceptional stakeholder management and the ability to navigate, engage and influence all levels of the organisation.

Some projects have started, and others will be in concept stage, so the Project Manager will need the ability to flex between business strategy and driving execution.

Projects include:

  • Coordination of the ‘Future Strategy’ for Compass APAC post Covid-19
  • Supporting the “Future State of Service” innovation and strategy
  • Digital acceleration
  • Food and Wellness – “The Future of Food”

Additional roles will include:

  • Supporting the CFO in regional financial & reporting routines and presentations including: Budget, 3YP and monthly balanced scorecard.
  • Leading key communications on strategic direction to country and functional leadership
  • Playing a key role in developing and defining the strategic plan (1 & 3 years) for the region

The role would suit a degree/MBA qualified individual with a few years of professional services or consulting experience (or similar) who would like to move into an in-house role and own a project from concept to implementation.

Experience working in Asia would be ideal, however excellent communication, project management & analytical skills, along with the ability to work unsupervised and resolve issues as they arise is expected.

Travel will be required.  There will be future global opportunities so this role would suit those with a desire to experience working internationally.

We are an organisation that's proud of its great people, we believe in the opportunity to recognise and share success, that's why we offer a competitive salary, health insurance discounts, paid parental leave, access to a company discounts and many other great benefits.
