Fly In Fly Out from Townsville, or Bus In Bus Out from Mt Isa, there are a variety of positions with flexible rosters available. You will have the opportunity to work across several sites, fulfilling opportunities working in full time roles.

Do you have experience or an interest in the following Hospitality roles;

• Bus driver /Utility – Must have Industry Authority
• Housekeeper
• Food and Beverage Attendant
• Kitchen Hand
• Mine site cleaner

You will work with our professional remote Village teams, who create a great environment for all mining personnel.

These roles will suit someone who loves variety in their day. Key duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to clean communal and accommodation facilities to customer satisfaction levels
• Supporting Chefs with basics food preparation, maintaining cleanliness standards of all food production areas including the Bar
• Ensuring the dining room and maintain crib room are well stocked and clean
• Assist in meeting HACCP standards including rotation and stock and food temperature checks

The Person

The ideal candidate will comfortably adjust to the varying business requirements - and be able to (on short notice) jump in and assist in various aspects of the housekeeping, cleaning (both mine site & village), kitchen hand, and bar tending.

• Have previous experience in a high-volume cleaning, housekeeping, or kitchen hand operations
• MR licence (endorsed) - Highly regarded
• Have knowledge of safe food handling
• Be willing to work in a team and autonomously 
• Mine site experience – Highly regarded
• First Aid / CPR Certification - Highly regarded

You must already reside in the Townsville, Cairns or Mt Isa regions and be willing to work remote.

The successful candidate will also need to be willing to complete a Pre-Employment Medical, including Drug and Alcohol and Functional test as a mandatory site requirement.
