Omega Security Services provides fully trained and experienced security personnel with tertiary qualification in risk management. Our people are personable and effective in their customer service to ensure they work well with your staff. Ensuring the safety of your people and assets is our priority.
We are currently recruiting for casual Security Officers to join our dynamic security team at the Queensland Children’s Hospital in South Brisbane. Working on a 24/7 rotating roster, this role will see you supporting QCH to deliver services for sick kids, families and staff who visit the Hospital each day! With this in mind, we require candidates with a warm and empathetic nature, a strong customer service focus and the ability to manage a variety of high-pressure situations. The Person
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Minimum two years’ experience in a security role
- previous experience working within a hospital environment or with children highly regarded
- Sound computer literacy and report writing skills
- Knowledge, understanding and a strong commitment to health and safety in the workplace
Mandatory Qualifications
- Certificate II (or above) in Security Operations
- Current QLD Security Officers (Unarmed, Monitoring) License
- Current Crowd Control License
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Current COVID vaccinations
