The Position 

Our Hospitality Allrounders are employed to provide Housekeeping, Catering/Kitchen Hand and Cleaning services for our customers on our sites which cater for 450-900 residents.  You will ensure all tasks are performance with due regard to all Health and Safety and Food safety regulations. 

We currently have opportunities for experienced allrounders to join our team in and work at various sites in Central QLD.  

You will hit the ground running with our current teams, assisting our teams who all strive to create a working environment that provides job satisfaction and creates opportunities for advancement. This person will be hands on providing all Housekeeping, Catering/Kitchen Hand and Cleaning services across a 24/7 roster cycle.

Accommodation and meals are provided, and uniforms and personal protective equipment are supplied on site (excl. work boots).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean rooms and public areas
• Prepare and serve food in the dining hall
• Prepare and clean kitchen areas
• Maintain a clean hygienic environment in all areas of the village
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents at all times
• Adhere to and follow the safety requirements, policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively in the workplace

The Person

• Previous Catering, Housekeeping and Mine Site/Commercial Cleaning will be highly regarded but is not essential
• High standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
• The ability to work long hours in a physically demanding, fast paced environment
• Reliability and flexibility to work across 24/7 rotational roster
• Professional attitude and the provision of excellent customer service
• Ability to demonstrate Australian working rights
• Current Australian Drivers licence (Manual licence and manual driving exp would be highly regarded)
