We have created an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Manager – Strategy & M&A to join our Growth, Strategy & Innovation team and play a key role in shaping the future of the business.

Reporting to the Executive Director – Growth, Strategy & Innovation, this role will focus on executing our strategic framework, delivering our mergers and acquisitions (M&A) agenda, and driving value across our existing contract portfolio.

This is a high-impact role suited to a commercially astute professional who enjoys working across strategy, finance, operations and executive leadership.

The role

As Senior Manager – Strategy & M&A, you will:

• Manage multiple M&A projects with a strong focus on transaction execution
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify and assess potential acquisition targets
• Develop high-quality advocacy materials, including strategic rationales and presentations for CGA, APAC and Group stakeholders
• Lead financial modelling, valuation and commercial analysis

• Add value to underperforming or complex contracts by working collaboratively with operational, commercial and legal teams

The Person

You are a confident, commercially minded leader with strong analytical capability and the ability to influence at senior levels.

You will bring:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
• 3–5+ years’ relevant experience in strategy, M&A, corporate finance or a similar environment
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven ability to produce high-quality, impactful documentation for internal and external audiences
• Strong project management capability and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
