We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate full time Site Manager to join the Compass Group team within our Education brand, Chartwells, working at Pymble Ladies College a large, prestigious, multifaceted school located in Sydney’s Upper Northshore.

The position

We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager with a strong commercial understanding to lead a high performing team. In this diverse role, you will be responsible for overseeing all functions, events, residential catering and retail. This is a role for a focused and motivated manager who thrives on a challenge and enjoys motivating, mentoring, and building an effective and professional team. We are looking for a manager that is a passionate about the culinary space and loves a challenge.

You:

• 5 plus years industry experience at management level
• Multi outlet/multi-site management experience
• A true foodie at heart, who loves nothing more than exploring the latest culinary trends
• A masterful service delivery professional who always puts the customer first
• Experience in a comparable environment or within a multi-site catering environment
• A ‘get up and go’ hands on manager who can lead from the front
• Ability to encourage and lead others
• Ability to interact with and maintain strong client engagement

Key responsibilities

• Communicate and work collaboratively with the client on all aspects of delivering a quality service
• Developing leadership and employee capability, and fostering a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovation
• Catering at a high level for events and functions (internal and external stakeholders)
• Quality delivery and oversight of residential boarding requirements
• Oversight of the development and professional presentation of  the staff and the product.
