We have on offer a dynamic and varied role for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our team based in Runaway Bay. This 7 day operation offers roster flexibility, no late evenings or long hours, and a well established team in a great environment.

Key Duties:

• Plan, supervise, monitor and evaluate the food production and menu-based catering
• Successfully managing, mentoring and developing a kitchen team including kitchen hands, cooks and chefs
• Deliver to our client's high expectations of a premium experience
• Be accountable for food production of various areas, in accordance with timing requirements
• Champion the significance and accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls

The Person:

• A natural leader with a unique approach to education catering bringing flair, warmth and outstanding cuisine in a friendly upmarket setting
• Your experience in the delivery of high-end corporate style functions is imperative as is your ability to navigate a team to success through leadership, training and safety compliance.
• Passionate about healthy and nutritious eating
• Must have experience in menu development and costing
• Training and/or accreditation in OH&S and Food Hygiene
