The Position

• High profile site in the Melbourne CBD
• Providing onsite catering to corporate guests, offering an exceptional level of support in the day to day catering operations.
• Showcasing seasonal produce, sustainability, local producers & the latest industry trends
• Ensuring all OH&S compliance is achieved, adhere to safe work practices and safe food handling procedures
• Ensure all catering controls are in place and wastage is kept to the minimum
• Stock control, ordering & menu planning, and use of quality management systems
• Enhance workplace culture and lead your team to be the best they can be 

The Person

• You will be a qualified Chef with minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• Previous or current experience at Sous Chef or Senior Chef level 
• High end / fine dining and bespoke events experience is a must
• Attention to detail 
• You will have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, 
• Experience in stock control, ordering & menu planning, and knowledge of quality management systems
• The ability to enhance workplace culture, through mentoring and leading a kitchen team
