$36-$38ph + 12% superannuation

Cranbrook School, located in the beautiful Rose Bay area of Sydney, is seeking a Chef Supervisor. This opportunity has arisen due to internal growth within our team. We’re looking for a chef who is eager to step into a leadership role, learn, and grow, with full support provided. The Position

• Lead daily kitchen operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Mentor and support kitchen staff, fostering a positive, service-focused culture.
• Ensure full OH&S compliance, following safe work practices and food handling procedures.
• Manage stock levels and ordering to meet budget requirements.
• Support training and development of apprentices and junior chefs
• Prepare and deliver fresh, high-quality meals for school students and events.

The Person

• previous experience or training in in supervisory or management of teams
• ability to use computer systems for ordering, stock control etc.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
• must hold FSS certificate and relevant chef qualifications
• Experience as a Chef 
• Skilled in bulk cooking with a strong focus on quality and presentation
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and food safety knowledge
• A team player who can also work independently
