We currently have an opportunity for a Chef Supervisor to join our team at a highly secured Federal site in Victoria. You will be a Hospitality professional and will take great pride in providing an awesome customer experience and creating amazing food. The role has flexible and family friendly hours with a great team! On an average day you will be responsible for catering and ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen. You must have solid catering experience, including bulk meal production, and outstanding customer service and supervisory skills!

The roster offer opportunity 7 days a week for normal working hours and even 10-12hr shifts with amazing weekend and public holiday rates! The location offers free parking to staff too!

Key Duties 

  • Maintain a high standard of continual bulk cooking
  • Plan, supervise, monitor and evaluate the food production 
  • Assist and oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation of all our culinary offerings
  • Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
  • Ensuring accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls
  • Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness 

The Person 

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Australian Federal Police Check
  • Experience in leading, mentoring and developing teams
  • Have a genuine passion for using sustainable practices and local produce 
  • A high level of commercial acumen
  • Experience in HACCP, food safety and infection control 
  • Previous experience in a a large production kitchen
  • Proficiency in applications of Microsoft 365
