As an essential services worker your role will be vital, and we’d love for you to be part of the team.  We are currently seeking a Team Leader to work within our Kew Gardens team based in Kew.  This role will predominantly be working weekends with a mix of morning and afternoon shifts and will take responsibility for supervising daily operations and the performance of our passionate Catering team members. 

Key responsibilities will also include: 

  • Manage the day to day operations of the catering services including supervising staff and developing rosters
  • Assist with preparing and presenting food
  • Ensure client/customer service and satisfaction by fostering relationships with key stakeholders
  • Assist management to maintain procedures and actively engage in the site safety culture
  • Other adhoc duties within capabilities

To be successful in the role you will need: 

  • We take pride in offering our residents the best possible service therefore its essential you have a caring and compassionate nature
  • Experience as a Catering Supervisor or Team Leader
  • Strong understanding of hygiene, food safety and handling
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong administration skills 
  • Team player and able to work autonomously

You'll also need to:

  • In line with the required legislation, a valid and current police clearance and influenza vaccination (or be prepared to acquire).
  • From 17th September 2021 it is a legislative requirement for all senior living workers to be fully vaccinated against COVID 19.
