• Monday to Friday Role – no weekend or public holiday work (no shut down during school holidays) 6:30am till 2:36pm.

The Position

• Springfield West State School (Spring Mountain) nearby to Ipswich, QLD
• Monday to Friday Role – no weekend or public holiday work (no shut down during school holidays) 6:30am till 2:36p.m.
• Flexible all-rounder with positive attitude
• General assistance to the Facilities Manager
• Set-ups/pack-downs for events
• Distributing deliveries
• Minor moves
• Actioning work orders
• Handy-person works and assisting trades where required
• Occasional light Cleaning and Grounds duties
• Minor routine maintenance tasks
• Litter collection
• Other Ad-Hoc duties 

The Person

• Beginner to intermediate computer skills
• Strong safety focus
• Flexible approach and attitude
• Team player and able to work autonomously
• Experience in working in a school or education environment (highly desirable)
• Essential: Must be able to obtain a Blue Card, undertake Functional medical with Drug and Alcohol Test
