Workforce Coordinator
Hybrid Working | Permanent Full-Time
We're seeking an experienced and people-focused Workforce Coordinator to join our team in a critical role supporting workforce operations across the business.
Reporting to the Senior Workforce Planner, you'll be responsible for ensuring operational teams have the right people, in the right place, at the right time. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll coordinate workforce coverage, manage labour gaps, oversee compliance requirements and support the effective utilisation of both internal relief pools and external labour providers.
This is not a traditional administration role. While scheduling is a key component, the position is highly operational and relationship-driven, requiring someone who can confidently manage competing priorities, influence stakeholders, solve workforce challenges and respond quickly to changing business needs.
What you'll be doing
You'll coordinate workforce coverage and labour support across operational teams, manage contingent labour compliance requirements, oversee internal relief pool utilisation, support mobilisations and contribute to initiatives that improve workforce efficiency while reducing agency reliance. Success in this role comes from balancing operational requirements, compliance obligations and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
What we're looking for
• Experience coordinating people, labour resources, rosters or workforce requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work with operational leaders and frontline employees.
• The ability to manage competing priorities, respond to urgent requests and adapt to changing business needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• Previous exposure to recruitment, workforce planning, mobilisation or operational support functions is advantageous.
