The Position
Collaborating with the kitchen team in creating and executing unforgettable menus.
Supporting the Head Chef in day-to-day operations.
Motivating and developing the kitchen team.
High quality buffet, with changes to menu weekly, to a high standard.
Overseeing and recording the Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
Preparing dishes in a fast-paced environment.
Supporting the Head Chef in stock management and minimising food wastage.
THE PERSON
Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery.
Experienced Sous Chef.
Leadership abilities and enjoys creating a positive work culture.
Experience with cooking healthy and nutritious food in a cafe and catering environment.
Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety.
Experience in menu development and costing.
